Behind the Author
Carol Wyllie, a retired stay-at-home mom and breast cancer survivor, has transformed her journey into a career as a bestselling, genre-hopping author. From her beloved children's book series to two powerful nonfiction works on breast cancer, Carol's writing spans ages and genres, blending inspiration, humor, and empowerment. Now a full-time author living her lifelong dream, she's currently writing young adult/new adult fiction that promises to captivate and uplift readers.
From Carol:
While I've been a writer all my life, Chemo Pissed Me Off became my first published book. It's not the book I ever thought I'd write, but there I was with all that fresh material. I thought, “if it helps one person, I will consider it a raving success.” It became an Amazon bestseller in breast cancer books.
My second published book, a children's book called Mad Dog and Alizard, is a story I told my kids when they were young. I'm thrilled it is finally a book everyone can enjoy.
It became a bestseller and was such a hit, my illustrator and I teamed up again to bring you the sequel Mad Dog and Zat Cat. Now it's a 3-book series.
Becoming a published author is a dream come true and I thank you endlessly for your support.
Wishing you all happiness, good health and good books.
